Excel : REVIEW (tab)

 The Review tab in Excel is a powerful tool that allows you to review, collaborate and protect your worksheets. Here's a brief explanation of each function in the Review tab:


Comments: This group contains tools for adding, editing and deleting comments in your worksheet. You can use the New Comment button to add a comment to a specific cell, the Next button to navigate to the next comment in the worksheet, the Previous button to navigate to the previous comment, and the Delete button to delete a selected comment.


Tracking: This group contains tools for tracking changes made to the worksheet. You can use the Track Changes button to turn on change tracking, the Accept button to accept changes made to the worksheet, the Reject button to reject changes, and the Protect Sheet button to protect the worksheet from further changes.


Compare: This group contains tools for comparing and merging different versions of the same worksheet. You can use the Compare button to compare two versions of the same worksheet, and the Merge button to merge the changes from one version into another.


Protect: This group contains tools for protecting the worksheet from unauthorized access and editing. You can use the Protect Sheet button to protect the worksheet with a password, the Restrict Access button to restrict access to certain parts of the worksheet, and the Encrypt with Password button to encrypt the worksheet with a password.


Language: This group contains tools for checking the grammar and spelling of your worksheet. You can use the Spelling button to check the spelling of the worksheet, and the Research button to access online sources for finding synonyms and translations.
